What Was Our Media Troll Farm?
Our social media operations unit consisted of 7 full-time digital influencers managing 82 active X (formerly Twitter) accounts—each with over 5,000 followers. These accounts were deployed for brand amplification, online advocacy, and occasionally, strategic online defense.
At the time, it was an effective tool. But like many tools in digital marketing, the context has evolved—and so have we.
